- 10/17/2018: We continue the discussion of chatbot. We start from Building Bot 101 using the pandorabot platform (video1), then how to build a simple chatbot on Diaglogflow (ref video1 video2).

- 10/3/2018: We introduce the technology of chatbot based on AIML. We will run the chatbots using the Java programming environment, AB, and also on the platform pandorabots. You are encouraged to compare AIML with other chatbot technology, like Diaglogflow, Azure Bot Services, Chatisfy, IBM Chatbot, Amazon Lex.
- 9/26/2018: We introduce the concept and language of regular expressions as the basis of the following applications, the chatbot based on AIML and information extraction using the ANNIE platform.
- 9/19/2018: We use these slides to give an overview of NLP, but mostly in the understanding part, as the introduction to the lecture.
